Will my files and my files be kept secure and confidential?
Absolutely. We value your work and appreciate the amount of trust you put into us and our editors when you choose to work with us. We take this responsibility very seriously.

Most certainly, yes. We value your privacy and personal confidentiality as much as we value the confidentiality of your work. Our process is designed to be as simple and straightforward as possible, while also giving our clients the comfort of knowing that they are in touch with a designated editing manager who is available to take care of their needs 24/7. We also wanted to give our clients the security of ensuring that our work meets their expectations, so you will receive the work from us on a chapter-by-chapter basis. If you are satisfied with our editor's work you can engage us further to work on subsequent chapters. If you feel that our editor could have done a better job, within reason, or if you have any notes or comments on their work, your designated editor would be happy to re-review each chapter at no extra cost to incorporate your notes and/ or concerns.
Our process works as follows:

English is not my first language, will you still be able to edit my work?
Of course. We have been serving clients from all around the world for over 10 years. In fact we have a designated service for clients whose first language is not English. All our editors are native English speakers and have extensive experience in editing work that is written by non-native English speakers, and fully understand what is needed to make your work read as if it were written by a highly adept native-English speaker. For more information about our designated service for clients who are non-native English speakers, please click here.
What if i'm unhappy with the work?
If you are unhappy with our editors' work, please contact us and we will be happy to find a reasonably suitable solution. We can offer a free re-review of your work either by the same editor, or another editor.
Unlike other similar service providers, we work on a chapter-by-chapter basis. Like this you can be 100% certain that you are satisfied with our editor's work before they move on to the next chapter.
What if i receive a chapter from you and decide i don't want to continue with subsequent chapters?
Yes no problem. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our work, and decide not to continue working with us on subsequent chapter, we completely respect your decision. We would do our best to resolve any issues that might prevent you from continuing with us, but above all this is your work, and the decision is entirely up to you with no hidden commitments.
Are all your editors actual human editors and proofreaders, and is any of the work done by software?
We do not use any kind of software to edit your work. All our editors are real, live human being with several years experience in this sector, and in their fields of expertise.
I have heard about machine editing. What's the difference between human editing and machine editing?
Well there's a significant difference between the two. First and foremost, our editors are able to comprehend the context and meaning of your work, and can therefore deduce what you're trying to express even if you're struggling to express it. Our editors are also all experts in their chosen fields and therefore possess the knowledge and experience within the context of your work, which gives them a further advantage in editing your work. Software can't do any of this. Not yet anyway!
Our editors are also able to give your writing a natural flow, which is impossible for software to achieve.
I'm a repeat client. I loved the work your previous editor did. Can i request the same editor?
Yes, we can certainly do our absolute best to give your work to the same editor. In 95% of the cases, we will be able to provide the same editor, however, in rare cases depending on your deadline, the same editor might be engaged with another client's work. In such cases, we will discuss the possibilities with you and do our best to accommodate your request.
